In collaboration with Pacific Land Resource Group, PWL Partnership Landscape Architects Inc.

Delsom Estates was a large subdivision development with a central riparian pond feature and a bioswale. Our Designs Inc. worked with the Landscape Architectural firm of note: PWL and the civil engineering group of Hub Engineering. The habitat was diverse from a marsh area that would be flooded in the event of a storm event to a drier greenway linear park on a slope. The diversity of the planting material included aquatics, riparian and B.C. native plants, and grasses. The ERC report required drawings, sections, and a soil analysis. We made time to visit the soil analysis consultant and analyzed specific soils for specific functional purposes such as water retention vs. groundwater recharge.
